Personal Lines Account Manager

You’re an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager who delivers proactive client service across homeowners, auto, umbrella, renters, and condo policies. You manage renewals and endorsements, prepare accurate quotes, remarket when needed, and support billing and claims advocacy. You’re a P&C-licensed insurance professional who knows personal insurance coverages, drives retention through cross-sell and up-sell, and works efficiently in modern agency systems (Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, AMS360) and carrier portals, always focused on fast, friendly policy servicing and exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines accounts with responsive, high-touch service.

  • Review client needs, recommend coverage options, prepare quotes, and process endorsements.

  • Guide clients through claims, coordinating with carriers for smooth, timely resolution.

  • Stay current on products, underwriting guidelines, and market trends to provide informed advice.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships through regular, proactive communication.

  • Support remarketing at renewal to improve coverage, price, and retention when appropriate.

  • Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system and CRM.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience.

  • Active State Property & Casualty (P&C) License.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for helping others.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • Experience with insurance software and CRM systems (Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, AMS360).

  • Willingness to pursue professional designations (CISR, CIC).

Compensation

  • Base salary: $50,000 to $70,00
