Trust & Estates Manager | CPA | Gaithersburg, MD (DC Metro)

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax-exempt organization returns (Form 990, 990-PF, 990-T) for trusts, estates, foundations, and nonprofit entities
- Oversee client relationships and serve as trusted advisor on trust and estate tax planning
- Conduct research on technical trust, estate, and tax-exempt organization issues
- Mentor and develop staff and senior-level tax professionals
- Collaborate with firm leadership on engagement strategy
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 7-10 years public accounting experience with deep expertise in trust and estate taxation and tax-exempt organizations (990, 990-PF, 990-T)
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements and lead client relationships
- Strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and collaborative mindset
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $150K-$210K depending on experience
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office, 2 days remote after training
- Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k), CPE allowance, and paid time off
