Labor & Employment Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation

On-Site | Kentucky (Must be licensed in KY)
About the Role:
A growing mid-sized firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 2–3 years of experience. This is a full-time, on-site role offering strong mentorship, meaningful client work, and true work-life balance—most attorneys are out by 5 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and manage employment litigation matters and administrative agency claims (EEOC, DOL, NLRB)
Provide counsel on compliance with labor and employment laws
Prepare legal documents including motions, memos, deposition summaries, and appellate briefs
Attend hearings, meetings, and contribute to internal development and recruiting
Maintain accurate billing and participate in CLE and bar associations
Qualifications:
JD and active license to practice in Kentucky
2–3 years of experience in labor & employment and civil litigation
Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal software
