Company Overview:

Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing dairy manufacturer with over 40 years of industry success, is expanding its leadership team. This company operates four plants within a close geographic area and is seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee facility-wide projects and large-scale maintenance initiatives.

Position Summary:

As Project Manager, you will play a high-visibility leadership role focused on managing capital projects, improving plant reliability, and facilitating cross-department collaboration. This position requires both strategic oversight and on-the-floor involvement, bridging maintenance, production, and executive leadership to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all company projects and large purchasing initiatives

  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across four local facilities

  • Serve as liaison between maintenance, production, and support teams

  • Provide hands-on floor presence and ensure equipment reliability

  • Implement and enforce Health & Safety compliance standards

  • Reduce downtime and increase preventive maintenance efficiency

  • Build technical capability within the maintenance team

  • Coach supervisors and technicians to meet and exceed safety, line utilization, and quality goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Project management experience within the food manufacturing industry

  • Proven background in maintenance leadership and equipment oversight

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience

  • Strong understanding of food production equipment and standards

  • Hands-on and strategic leadership style with cross-functional collaboration skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
