Company Overview:
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing dairy manufacturer with over 40 years of industry success, is expanding its leadership team. This company operates four plants within a close geographic area and is seeking a driven Project Manager to oversee facility-wide projects and large-scale maintenance initiatives.
Position Summary:
As Project Manager, you will play a high-visibility leadership role focused on managing capital projects, improving plant reliability, and facilitating cross-department collaboration. This position requires both strategic oversight and on-the-floor involvement, bridging maintenance, production, and executive leadership to drive results.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all company projects and large purchasing initiatives
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders across four local facilities
Serve as liaison between maintenance, production, and support teams
Provide hands-on floor presence and ensure equipment reliability
Implement and enforce Health & Safety compliance standards
Reduce downtime and increase preventive maintenance efficiency
Build technical capability within the maintenance team
Coach supervisors and technicians to meet and exceed safety, line utilization, and quality goals
What We’re Looking For:
Project management experience within the food manufacturing industry
Proven background in maintenance leadership and equipment oversight
Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience
Strong understanding of food production equipment and standards
Hands-on and strategic leadership style with cross-functional collaboration skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
