Drywall & Metal Framing
A growing drywall and metal framing contractor is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead operations, drive client growth, and oversee project execution within their region. This role is ideal for a motivated construction professional with strong leadership skills, industry relationships, and operational experience in commercial drywall and metal framing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both business development and field operations, with the ability to manage teams, support estimating efforts, and ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, and industry partners
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial construction market
- Oversee daily operations, production teams, and project performance within the assigned area
- Supervise and support estimating activities, bid strategy, and proposal development
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, manpower, and overall operational efficiency
- Lead and mentor field and office staff to ensure high-quality performance and accountability
- Collaborate with executive leadership on growth strategies and operational improvements
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Qualifications
- Experience in commercial drywall and metal framing construction required
- Prior supervisory or operational leadership experience required
- Strong understanding of estimating, production, and project execution
- Proven business development and client relationship management skills
- Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of commercial construction processes and industry standards
