Job Title: PEMB Engineer
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in the PEMB industry, strong proficiency in MBS software, and hold a Professional Engineering (PE) license. This role involves engineering design, project coordination, and ensuring structural integrity and compliance across a wide range of metal building projects.
Responsibilities:
Perform structural engineering design and analysis for PEMB projects
Utilize MBS software for modeling, design, and detailing
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and project documentation
Review designs for accuracy, code compliance, and constructability
Collaborate with project managers, detailers, drafters, and fabrication teams
Provide engineering support throughout fabrication and erection phases
Stamp and approve engineering documents as required
Troubleshoot field issues and modify designs as needed
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and industry standards
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in the Pre-Engineered Metal Building industry
Proficiency in MBS software is required
Professional Engineering (PE) license required
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or related field)
Strong understanding of structural steel design and metal building systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
