Interior Designer/Project Manager

If you are a passionate Interior Designer looking to join a growing team, there is an incredible opportunity that awaits in Baltimore, MD. This reputable Architecture and Design Firm is looking for an Interior Designer that can lead projects and teams from conception through completion and close out.

Interior Design Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Interior Design or related field.
  • 5-12 years of experience in interior design.
  • Candidates with Healthcare or Higher-Education project experience strongly encourage to apply.

Interior Designer Requirements:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, PhotoShop, InDesign, Microsoft Office is preferred. 
  • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
  • Proactive written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledgeable to support both, management and design- ability to integrate design requirements w/ architecture
  • LEED accreditation an asset
  • NCIDQ accreditation is preferred 

Interior Designer Responsibilities:

  • The Interior Designer will be responsible for start to finish project management.
  • Consult with clients on creation, presentation of interior design concepts and needs
  • Define project requirements and develop design criteria
  • Scheduling, Estimates, Budget, Planning to complete projects- drawings, models, images, material etc.  
  • Use software to design, sketch and provide drawings of proposed projects
  • Professional client development skills
  • Leadership skills, ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally
