Labor & Employment Attorney – San Antonio, TX
Full-Time | 5+ Years’ Experience
A respected law firm in San Antonio is looking for a Labor & Employment Attorney with 5+ years of experience. Senior and Of Counsel Attorneys are welcome to apply—no portable book required.
This role involves advising employers on a range of labor and employment matters, including litigation, compliance, investigations, and workplace policy. The right candidate will offer practical, business-focused solutions to complex issues.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise on hiring, terminations, discipline, wage/hour compliance, leaves, safety, and discrimination claims.
Represent clients in court, arbitration, and before agencies (EEOC, DOL, NLRB).
Draft and review employment contracts, separation agreements, handbooks, and policies.
Conduct internal investigations and respond to complaints and regulatory inquiries.
Provide compliance training and risk management strategies.
Stay current on employment law developments.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school.
Licensed and in good standing in Texas.
At least 5 years of labor and employment law experience.
Strong litigation and advisory skills.
Excellent writing, negotiation, and communication abilities.
Capable of managing multiple complex matters.
