A well-established San Antonio law firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join its creditor-focused practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a Bankruptcy Attorney looking to manage meaningful work across Chapters 7, 11, and 13 while working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

The firm is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney with a strong understanding of the Bankruptcy Code, experience in creditor-side litigation, and the ability to manage a high-volume caseload from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent creditor clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 proceedings

  • Draft motions, proofs of claim, and other pleadings

  • Attend court hearings, 341 meetings, and settlement negotiations

  • Develop a case strategy and maintain compliance with deadlines

  • Negotiate recoveries, payment plans, and stipulations

  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school

  • Licensed and in good standing in Texas

  • 2–5+ years of experience as a Bankruptcy Attorney or in collections

  • Strong legal writing, oral advocacy, and negotiation skills

  • Familiarity with creditor remedies and e-filing systems
