- Position: Associate Attorney – Franchise & Corporate Law (Transactional)
About the Role:
- Build a long-term career in franchise and corporate law within a sophisticated, collaborative practice
- Strictly transactional and regulatory (no litigation)
- Manage meaningful autonomy, including responsibility for an existing client base
- Work closely with experienced franchise and corporate teams
- Structured franchise law training program available (prior franchise experience a plus, not required)

- Entity formation and structuring
- Business acquisitions and sales
- Corporate governance
- Complex commercial agreements
- Franchise Law (Franchisor Representation):
- Draft franchise disclosure documents (FDDs)
- State franchise registrations
- Franchise agreements and related documents
- Compliance counseling
- Renewals, transfers, defaults, terminations, and regulatory matters
- Franchise Law (Franchisee Representation):
- Review and negotiate FDDs and franchise agreements
- Commercial lease review and negotiation
- Franchise relationship counseling
- Franchise acquisitions and sales
Ideal Candidate:
- Location: Illinois (must be admitted and in good standing)
- Experience: 2+ years in transactional business or corporate law
- Comfortable managing client matters independently while collaborating with a team
- Strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills
