Job Title: Defense-Side Litigation Attorney

A well-established and respected law firm in San Antonio is seeking a seasoned Defense-Side Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. If you're an attorney with solid experience in personal injury and insurance defense—and you're looking for a new opportunity to grow in a fast-paced, high-level practice—this role could be your next move.

This firm handles a broad range of civil defense matters, including personal injury defense, premises liability, product liability, and first-party insurance coverage. You’ll work alongside a team of talented litigators while managing a diverse and engaging caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in complex civil litigation, with a focus on insurance and personal injury defense.

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.

  • Handle all phases of litigation, including depositions, court appearances, and trial.

  • Negotiate settlements and communicate directly with clients and insurance carriers.

  • Deliver strategic legal solutions with minimal oversight.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally on the defense side.

  • Trial experience is preferred.

  • Active license and good standing with the Texas Bar.

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and courtroom skills.

  • Ability to independently manage a busy docket of 35–40 cases.
