Position: Briefing Attorney
Location: San Antonio, TX
A respected and growing personal injury law firm in San Antonio is seeking a Briefing Attorney to join its legal team. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional seeking to make a meaningful contribution through legal writing, research, and case strategy within a firm that values growth and promotes from within.
As a Briefing Attorney, you will be responsible for evaluating policy limits, analyzing medical treatment, ensuring care aligns with the facts of the accident, and drafting persuasive settlement demands that support client recovery. Your work will be instrumental in moving cases toward successful resolution.
Key Responsibilities for the Briefing Attorney role:
Analyze accident facts, treatment records, and insurance policies
Guide clients through treatment with strategic oversight
Draft compelling legal documents, including pre-litigation demands and internal memos
Collaborate with attorneys and case managers to develop an effective case strategy
Incorporate legal tech and AI tools to streamline workflow and increase productivity
Qualifications:
Prior experience as a plaintiffs' commercial litigation attorney is highly preferred
1–3 years of legal experience
J.D. from an accredited law school; graduating in the top third of your class is a plus
Strong writing, organization, and client communication skills
Ability to manage a fast-paced caseload with precision
Proficiency or openness to using AI tools in legal research and drafting
