Position Summary:

A well-established personal injury and workers’ compensation law firm is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Workers’ Compensation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have either:

  • Several years of direct workers’ compensation law experience; or
  • Substantial experience in personal injury law and a strong interest in transitioning into workers’ compensation practice.
  • This is a full-time, in-office role offering strong professional growth opportunities and a supportive legal team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a high-volume caseload of workers’ compensation matters from intake through resolution.
  • Represent injured clients before administrative and judicial bodies.
  • Draft and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare case evaluations, and negotiate settlements.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and effective client communication.
  • Advocate for various types of injured workers, including those in construction, healthcare, factory work, office jobs, and union roles.
  • Handle complex or specialized cases (e.g., occupational diseases, death benefits, third-party claims, or federal injury statutes).

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active license to practice law.
  • Several years of experience in either workers’ compensation or personal injury law.
  • Strong litigation and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent legal writing and analytical abilities.
  • A client-first mindset with a high standard of professionalism and integrity.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary: DOE
  • Incentive compensation and overtime opportunities available (average $5,000 to $10,000+ annually).
