Job Description

1. Development and Implementation of Food Safety Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain food safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

2. Training and Education: Conduct regular training sessions for employees on food safety practices, including proper hygiene, sanitation, and handling procedures. Ensure that all team members understand and adhere to food safety protocols.

3. Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in food safety regulations and ensure that the organization remains compliant with all applicable laws and regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.

4. Risk Assessment and Hazard Analysis: Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential food safety hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks. Implement preventive measures to maintain product safety throughout the production process. Manage HACCP plans across all product types.

5. Monitoring and Auditing: Establish monitoring systems to regularly assess the effectiveness of food safety measures. Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to standards. This includes implementation and management of GMP audit program.

6. Team Management: Lead, develop and manage a team of food safety specialists, internal auditors and technical document specialists providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure the efficient operation of the food safety department.

7. Communication and Collaboration: Foster a culture of food safety awareness across all departments through effective communication and collaboration. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production,quality assurance, and regulatory affairs, to promote a holistic approach to food safety management.

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Food Safety, or related field. Advanced degree or certification(e.g., Certified Food Safety Manager) is preferred.
