Lead the design of mechanical systems (HVAC, hydronic, energy-efficient systems) from concept through construction documentation
Work closely with architects, contractors, and internal project teams to deliver coordinated, high-performance designs
Perform HVAC load calculations, energy modeling, and system selections
Conduct field assessments and site visits as needed throughout project lifecycle
Support project schedules, cost control, and quality assurance efforts
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Mechanical Engineering
6+ years of experience in mechanical building systems design
Experience in healthcare, higher education, research, or commercial sectors preferred
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and related HVAC design tools
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across disciplines
LEED accreditation a plus
