What You’ll Do

  • Meet with and guide families through the funeral arrangement process with compassion and professionalism

  • Coordinate and direct services, visitations, and celebrations of life

  • Manage case files, documentation, and compliance requirements

  • Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, supporting a culture of teamwork and service

  • Participate in community engagement, strengthening the funeral home’s local presence

  • Handle back-of-house duties as needed (embalming, preparation, transfers)

What We’re Looking For

  • Dual license (Funeral Director & Embalmer) in Canada, or eligible to transfer credentials to British Columbia

  • Proven experience delivering both front-of-house family service and technical care

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to support families during difficult times with empathy and professionalism

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail in both administrative and technical responsibilities

  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to contribute across all aspects of the funeral home
