Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven National Sales Manager to join our team. This role will focus on managing external and internal sales activities with respect to Nano Processing equipment to drive increasing revenue and expand industry market share. This position requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage our inside sales department and personnel while developing comprehensive sales strategies. Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-precision equipment sales and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers across various industries.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership: Manage the inside sales department and personnel to ensure profitable sales of Nano Processing machinery products
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales goals and strategies for assigned territory through comprehensive market research and competitive analysis
  • Business Development: Promote and sell Nano Processing machines by establishing and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers of prospective customers
  • Dealer Network Development: Assist senior management in developing and managing a dealer network throughout North America
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain strong customer relationships by providing guidance, insights, and support while communicating industry trends and customer needs to management
  • Sales Operations: Utilize CRM and CPQ software for efficient sales tracking and quoting, and prepare comprehensive sales forecasts (annual, quarterly, and monthly)
  • Dealer Management: Educate internal sales representatives and dealers on product offerings, value proposition, and sales procedures through ongoing meetings, workshops, and web conferences
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical sales efforts to enhance product understanding both internally and externally
  • Performance Monitoring: Conduct periodic sales opportunity review meetings with internal sales representatives and dealers to drive new sales opportunities and machine orders
  • Financial Collaboration: Assist finance department with collections and payment follow-ups, and perform credit research and customer analysis as required
  • Marketing Engagement: Actively engage in social media marketing through LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and other platforms to encourage customer interaction
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments to support machine deliveries and ensure exceptional customer service


Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in high precision equipment with strong focus on automotive optics and medical industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • Proven track record of maintaining effective internal and external partnerships
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
  • Experience in sales policy development and pricing control aligned with company standards


Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies
  • Proficiency in CRM and CPQ software systems for sales tracking and management
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities for customer-facing interactions
  • Strong analytical skills for competitor research and market analysis
  • Leadership capabilities for managing sales teams and dealer networks
  • Social media marketing experience across professional platforms
  • Ability to develop sales materials including brochures, specification sheets, and competitor comparisons


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 Base + Commission 
  • Travel: All business travel expenses covered
