A highly respected litigation firm in Jacksonville is seeking an Appellate Brief Writing Attorney to join its team. This unique role is designed for an attorney who excels in legal research and writing and prefers to work behind the scenes rather than appearing in court.

Position Overview:
The Appellate Brief Writing Attorney will focus exclusively on research, drafting, and analysis for complex appellate and trial-level matters. This position is ideal for an attorney who thrives on crafting persuasive, well-supported briefs and enjoys deep legal analysis over courtroom advocacy.

Qualifications:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in appellate practice or litigation support

  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills with a proven track record in appellate or dispositive motion work

  • Florida Bar admission in good standing

  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to distill complex legal issues into clear, persuasive arguments
