Are you an experienced litigation attorney with a strong background in consumer financial services? Our client, a highly respected firm in Los Angeles, is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Litigation Associate to join their growing team.
What You’ll Do:
Handle a diverse caseload of consumer financial services litigation matters, including claims under the FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UDAP.
Analyze, draft, and argue pleadings such as demurrers, motions to dismiss, motions to strike, and summary judgment.
Manage discovery, including drafting and responding to written discovery, handling e-discovery, and fact development.
Take and defend depositions; appear in both state and federal courts for motions and pre-trial hearings.
Work closely with partners on strategy development for high-stakes litigation, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Engage directly with clients, managing urgent requests and providing practical, business-minded legal advice.
Who We’re Looking For:
Active California Bar license in good standing (required).
3+ years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on financial services litigation.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; top-of-class academic record preferred.
Experience with respected regional, national, or strong local law firms.
Excellent writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
Demonstrated experience in pleadings, motions, discovery, depositions, and court appearances.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced litigation.
Client-focused mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.

Hybrid schedule: In-office Tuesday–Thursday; remote Monday & Friday.
