We are partnering with our client to identify an experienced Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney to join its established practice in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

This is a strong opportunity for a litigator seeking meaningful case responsibility, exposure to complex matters, and the ability to work closely with experienced leadership in a collaborative environment.

Position: Insurance Defense Litigation Attorney (5+ Years)

About the Role

This position involves handling a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters, including work in both state and federal courts. Attorneys will manage cases from inception through resolution while collaborating with partners on strategy and client development.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation matters from inception through trial preparation
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and legal briefs
• Conduct discovery, depositions, and case strategy development
• Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings
• Handle federal court matters as applicable
• Maintain strong client communication and case management

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience
• Experience in insurance defense or civil litigation
• Exposure to federal court practice preferred
• Experience with motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
• Strong writing, research, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently
• Licensed in Pennsylvania and in good standing
