Quality Control Manager – Asphalt & Aggregate Plant

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance and control processes for an asphalt and aggregate operation. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet all specifications, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting overall plant performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all QC/QA operations for asphalt and aggregate production
  • Perform and manage testing of materials to ensure compliance with DOT and project specifications
  • Monitor plant processes and make recommendations to improve product quality and consistency
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and certifications
  • Coordinate with plant operations, production teams, and management
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
  • Manage and mentor QC technicians and lab personnel
  • Support mix design development and adjustments as needed

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of QC experience in asphalt and/or aggregate production
  • Strong knowledge of DOT specifications and testing procedures
  • Experience with mix designs and material testing
  • Familiarity with lab equipment and quality control systems
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
