TITLE: Technicians

COMPANY TYPE: A Texas-based trash compactor and cardboard baler equipment company.

LOCATION: NE Dallas/Fort Worth TX

We are seeking Skilled Technicians to join our team as a Baler/Compactor Technician.

As a Baler/Compactor Technician, you will be responsible for the repairmaintenance, and rebuilds of recycling equipment, controls, and other components purchased or leased by customers. Working independently, you'll ensure the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The Baler/Compactor Technician will utilize an understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics to detect and resolve issues with electrical and mechanical components.

Duties include:

- Traveling to customer sites for installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of recycling equipment and controls.

- Researching machine issues using recycling equipment manuals, technical documents, internal, and vendor resources.

- Documenting the status of machine issues, repairs, and installations for both the company office and customers.

- Performing preventative maintenance on customer's recycling equipment.

- Providing after-sales technical support and machine maintenance training to customers.

- Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of the recycling equipment industry and the product lines represented by the company.

Qualifications:

- Self motivated and can work with little to no direction (can work independently)

- Driver's License with a clean driving record.

- Organized and professional attitude.

- Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics; ability to read and interpret drawings.

- Ability and willingness to learn.

- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills.

- Physical fitness to meet the job requirements. (can withstand the Texas heat as some jobs require being outside for several hours)

- Flexibility to work varying hours.(Most days start at 7am and end at 3pm)
