Maintenance technician in Independence

Job Description

We are working with a client who has a locally owned and operated business for over 75 years located in Wisconsin. This company has a great culture, and they do promote continued training to better the employees and company. They are urgently hiring for a first and second shift maintenance technician and are scheduling interviews this week. These positions are urgent!

Position Requirements and Responsibilities:

• First shift runs from 5:30 am-6 pm during busy season (June-Beginning of October).  Of busy season the shift will run 6 am – 4 pm Monday-Thursday.
• Second shift runs from 5:30 pm-6 am during busy season( June-Beginning of October).
• Inspect, repair and maintain machinery, and equipment throughout the facility
• Trouble shoot, repair, and replace machinery as required
• Read sketches and blueprints to determine layout of assigned work
• Design, fabricate, weld, and install equipment as required
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and PM completed
• Monitor equipment operation making any necessary adjustments
• Ensure that GMP’s (General manufacturing Practices), safety rules and regulations are being followed and enforced
• Other duties as assigned

• Compensation and Benefits:
