A growing food manufacturing company in Southern Wisconsin is seeking a Plant Manager. Open to either:
An experienced Plant Manager, or
A motivated leader ready to step into management with mentorship.
Dairy/cheese preferred. Food industry experience required. Smoked meats a plus.
Oversee production, maintenance, quality, sanitation, logistics, and budgets
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards (HACCP, SQF, USDA, FDA)
Drive capital projects and process improvements
Monitor KPIs to reduce costs and improve output
Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives
Champion employee development and operational excellence
5+ years in food manufacturing leadership (dairy/cheese strongly preferred)
Strong understanding of food safety compliance
Hands-on leader who can mentor, engage, and develop teams
Proven success with continuous improvement and cost optimization
Base salary $90K–$115K
