Job Description

ERP Administrator – Accounting Systems | Full-Time | On-Site 

I’m currently partnered with a growing employee-owned organization that provides essential business support services to companies in the construction and engineering space. They’re adding an ERP Administrator to their Accounting team—someone with strong ERP system knowledge, particularly around access control, accounting workflows, and system optimization.

This is a key role focused on maintaining the integrity of the ERP platform, supporting users, and improving internal processes. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and experienced in project-based accounting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain user roles, permissions, and access control within the ERP system

  • Coordinate with department leaders to align system access with job functions

  • Conduct regular audits of access and security settings to ensure compliance

  • Support ERP system configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting

  • Provide user training and develop documentation for role-specific workflows

  • Collaborate with IT, accounting, and other departments on system enhancements

  • Maintain clear documentation of role changes, permissions, and user histories

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on ERP system experience in an administrative or support capacity

  • Prior experience with Viewpoint Vista or similar ERP systems is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of accounting processes (AP, AR, GL, job cost, etc.)

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users

  • Background in construction or project-driven industries is beneficial

  • Familiarity with SQL, Crystal Reports, or SSRS is a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $55,000–$75,000, depending on experience

  • Discretionary annual bonus
