Job Description

We’re looking for a Quality Engineer to join our growing team! This role is a great fit for someone with machine job shop or development manufacturing experience in fast-paced industries like defense and aerospace.

What You’ll Do:

  • Review and interpret customer specifications to ensure compliance

  • Perform and document FAI (First Article Inspections) and inspection data for precision-machined components

  • Work hands-on with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement

  • Conduct in-process and final inspections to ensure tight tolerances and standards are consistently met

  • Support quality systems and audits to maintain certifications and customer requirements

  • Contribute to building efficient, repeatable quality processes in a high-mix, low-volume environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience as a Quality Engineer in aerospace/defense or job shop manufacturing

  • Strong knowledge of FAI, inspection methods, and customer-driven requirements

  • Familiarity with precision machining, specialty materials, and complex part inspection

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills

  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving and process improvement
