Position Summary

As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the service department. Your primary goal is to provide exceptional leadership, ensure customer satisfaction, and manage departmental goals and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the service team by delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.

  • Manage daily operations, ensuring high team morale and customer satisfaction.

  • Handle recruitment, training, and development of service employees.

  • Approve work orders and quotes for accuracy and timeliness.

  • Communicate with customers about repair status, warranties, and service history.

  • Grow the business by building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

  • Identify and implement strategies to improve processes and profitability.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership on budget creation and analysis.

  • Ensure the team adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 3-5 years of service management experience, preferably within the construction equipment sector.

  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanics and machinery.

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Experience with budgeting and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, manipulate, and move items up to 75 lbs.

  • Work environment includes both indoors and outdoors.
