A well-established, reputable commercial general contractor in the Madison area is hiring a Project Engineer to support planning and execution of complex projects across industrial, healthcare, education, corporate, and institutional sectors.

Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with daily coordination and execution
Review/interpret drawings, specs, and submittals
Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders
Support subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and cost tracking
Maintain accurate project records and documentation
Partner with field teams to uphold safety and quality standards
Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and trade partners
Participate in meetings, progress updates, and closeout
Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
1–5 years of commercial construction experience (internships included)
Strong grasp of construction methods, drawings, and materials
Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
