Insurance Defense Attorney | Miami, FL

A respected Florida law firm is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney with 1+ years of experience in litigation to join its Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside seasoned litigators on diverse and challenging defense matters within a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do

• Represent insurers, businesses, and individuals in personal injury, premises liability, property damage, and general liability defense matters.
• Draft and argue motions, prepare pleadings, and manage discovery, depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Conduct legal research and provide strategic advice to clients and senior attorneys.
• Collaborate with partners and clients to develop effective litigation strategies and deliver strong results.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism, client service, and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

• Licensed and in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 1+ years of experience in insurance defense or civil litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently while working effectively as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms (Westlaw, LexisNexis).
