Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage preconstruction efforts on multiple projects across various market sectors.

  • Develop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and cost models during design phases.

  • Lead value engineering exercises to maximize project value while maintaining design intent.

  • Collaborate with design teams, owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.

  • Manage preconstruction schedules and ensure alignment with client expectations and delivery goals.

  • Prequalify and engage subcontractors, analyze bids, and provide recommendations.

  • Transition projects seamlessly from preconstruction to operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • 7+ years of preconstruction and/or estimating experience in commercial construction.

  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and market pricing.

  • Proven ability to manage design-assist/design-build projects.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
