Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage preconstruction efforts on multiple projects across various market sectors.
Develop conceptual budgets, detailed estimates, and cost models during design phases.
Lead value engineering exercises to maximize project value while maintaining design intent.
Collaborate with design teams, owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure project feasibility.
Manage preconstruction schedules and ensure alignment with client expectations and delivery goals.
Prequalify and engage subcontractors, analyze bids, and provide recommendations.
Transition projects seamlessly from preconstruction to operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
7+ years of preconstruction and/or estimating experience in commercial construction.
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and market pricing.
Proven ability to manage design-assist/design-build projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client-facing skills.
