Our client is looking for a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join their team in the greater Nashville area.

As a Payroll & Benefits Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, as well as managing employee benefits. 

Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for employees, including calculating wages, deductions, and overtime

- Ensure compliance with all federal and state payroll regulations

- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, 401k, and paid time off- Collaborate with HR to resolve payroll and benefits issues

- Maintain accurate payroll records and reports

 

Essential Job Functions:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Excellent organizational and time management skills

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

 

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
