Construction Attorney – Morristown, NJ
A well-established law firm in Morristown, NJ is seeking a skilled Construction Attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in construction law to work on sophisticated matters with a highly regarded practice group.
Responsibilities:
Handle construction-related litigation (construction defect), arbitration, and mediation.
Draft, review, and negotiate construction contracts and related agreements.
Advise clients on risk management, claims, insurance coverage, and compliance issues.
Represent contractors, developers, owners, and other stakeholders in a wide range of construction disputes.
Manage cases from inception through resolution with support from a collaborative team.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York
2–6 years of construction law experience (litigation and contract work preferred).
Strong writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Base salary range: $120,000 – $160,000, depending on experience.
Bonus potential and advancement opportunities.
