Senior Mechanical Project Engineer

What You’ll Do

  • Lead mechanical engineering design (HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection) through every phase of a project

  • Develop efficient, reliable systems that meet client goals for performance, aesthetics, and budget

  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to present solutions and resolve challenges

  • Conduct system evaluations, produce technical reports, and provide expert guidance to colleagues

  • Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and helping them grow professionally

  • Support project financial goals through fee submissions and tracking

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET accredited)

  • 5+ years of experience in building engineering

  • Skilled in AutoCAD and Revit

  • Knowledge of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection codes

  • Strong communicator, comfortable working with clients and teams

  • Able to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Nice-to-Have

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT certification

  • Experience designing for healthcare or higher education projects

  • Familiarity with alternative project delivery methods
