Project Manager – Commercial Earthworks, Demolition & Excavation | Chicago, IL

A stable, growing commercial construction firm in Chicago is seeking a Project Manager with experience in earthworks, demolition, and excavation for commercial builds. Lead projects from start to finish, manage budgets, schedules, and resources, and ensure safety and quality on every job.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee commercial construction projects including earthworks, demolition, and excavation.

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities with Estimating, Operations, and Permit teams.

  • Track costs, schedules, productivity, and profitability.

  • Manage client, subcontractor, and consultant relationships.

  • Ensure compliance with codes, safety standards, and company procedures.

  • Complete project closeouts and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • 6–10+ years of project management experience in commercial construction, earthworks, demolition, and excavation.

  • Degree preferred, not required

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
