About the Role:
Our client, a well-established and respected leader in the agriculture industry, is seeking a highly organized, hands-on Agronomy Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across multiple agronomy service locations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring timely, efficient, and safe delivery of agronomy products and services while supporting sales growth and maintaining strong relationships with customers and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate day-to-day agronomy operations, including fertilizer, crop protection, seed handling, blending, and application logistics.

  • Supervise and support operations staff, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee equipment maintenance, and coordinate seasonal planning and execution.

  • Collaborate with sales agronomists and management to align operational activities with customer needs and business objectives.

  • Implement and maintain operational best practices to drive efficiency and customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and monitor budgets, assist with capital planning, and manage facility improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in agronomy, crop production, or related operational roles; 2+ years in a leadership capacity preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of agronomic products, crop input logistics, and agricultural equipment.

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and prioritize operational tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • CDL and/or applicator’s license preferred, or willingness to obtain.

  • Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Business Management, or related field is a plus.
