Job Description

A reputable Public Accounting firm in the area is looking to add a Tax Manager to their team. This stable and growing firm offers clients valuable knowledge and expertise in tax. Due to the recent growth of the firm, there is an opportunity for a Tax Manager to join a team of highly motivated staff. 

We are on the hunt for a Tax Manager (High-Net-Worth Individuals & Trusts)
Full-Remote (South Florida residents only)
💸 $225K–$250K + Bonuses + Profit Share

Role Overview

You’ll manage complex tax engagements for high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and estates. Think Form 1040, 1041, and if you can handle 709 gift returns, even better. This is not a training role. We want someone who already knows their way around the tax code for wealthy families and trust structures.


Must-Have Credentials (No wiggle room)

  • ✅ CPA (or passed all exam parts)
  • ✅ Experience at Big 4 or Top 100 CPA firm
  • ✅ GPA 3.4+
  • ✅ At least 2 years as a Tax Manager
  • 🎓 Prefer grads from UF, FSU, UM, or other reputable universities

Compensation

  • 💰 Salary: $225,000–$250,000 (high end reserved for top-tier academic + career pedigree)
  • 💼 Annual bonus
  • 💸 Profit share of ~50% on any clients you bring in
  • 🏦 4% 401(k) match
  • 🦷 Medical, dental, vision (50% paid by firm)

Work-Life Balance (aka the part everyone cares about)

  • 🏠 Fully remote (as long as you live in South Florida)
  • 🌴 6 weeks PTO (realistically 8–10 weeks due to compressed schedules)
  • ⏱ Low billable requirement: 1,550 hours
