Inteiror Designer Job Summary:                     

We are recruiting for a local Kansas City Architecture firm that specializes in the design of Healthcare projects throughout the region. As an Inteiror Designer, you will play a critical role as a member of a multidisciplinary team in the delivery of interior projects for healthcare clients. 

Interior Designer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field.
  • 5+ Years of Experience Post Graduation.
  • NCIDQ certification prefered but not required.
  • Experience working with hospitals, clinics, laboratory, science and technology, and federal healthcare project types preferred.
  • Demonstrates judgment and decision-making to connect with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Skills in communicating with client leadership regarding project objectives.

Interior Designer Responsibilities:

  • Lead interior planning and design on healthcare projects from programming throughconstruction administration.
  • Prepare interior finish and furniture specifications.
  • Ensure all documentation meets all procurement and design standards.
  • Contribute to material boards, presentation packages, and client deliverables.
  • Collaborate directly with clients to understand design requirements.
  • Participate in client meetings, user group workshops, and design reviews with stakeholders.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects to ensure quality, on-time, and on-budget delivery.
  • Maintain oversight of project schedules, budgets, and client communication.
