The operator is seeking a highly skilled Rotor Wing Pilot to join its critically essential Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (H-EMS) team. The Pilot will operate state-of-the-art medical helicopters, with the primary responsibility of ensuring the swift and safe transport of critically ill and injured patients to definitive care facilities. This role is a vital service to the community, operating in high-stakes environments.
Serve as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) of H-EMS missions, prioritizing flight safety and operational excellence in all conditions.
Conduct thorough pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight procedures, including fueling, maintenance checks, and meticulous record-keeping.
Utilize advanced navigation systems, including Night Vision Goggles (NVG), for safe operations during nighttime and low-light conditions.
Maintain effective communication and professional collaboration with the medical crew, dispatch, and air traffic control.
Remain on-call and rapidly deployable for emergency missions, often involving non-standard hours.
FAA Commercial Rotorcraft Certificate with Instrument Rating (ATP preferred).
Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time, with 1,500 hours helicopter PIC, and 100 hours of unassisted NVG flight time.
Previous H-EMS experience highly desirable.
Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate.
