Commercial Electrical Estimator

I'm currently partnering with a well-respected electrical contractor that is looking to add a Commercial Electrical Estimator to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on a variety of commercial projects and wants to be part of a company with a strong reputation, a steady backlog of work, and room for long-term growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Reviewing plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial electrical projects
• Performing quantity takeoffs and preparing detailed cost estimates
• Developing budgets for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
• Obtaining and evaluating vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Assisting with the preparation and submission of bid proposals
• Working closely with project managers and company leadership throughout the bidding process
• Identifying opportunities to improve project value and competitiveness

What They're Looking For

• Experience estimating commercial electrical construction projects
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
• Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
