Position Summary:
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with a background in personal injury and medical malpractice to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a compassionate and caring nature while providing clients with clear direction and guidance throughout their legal journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in personal injury and medical malpractice cases, from intake through resolution.
- Conduct thorough case investigations, including gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and consulting with experts.
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Maintain clear and open communication with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported at every stage of the process.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate on behalf of clients in court as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with legal assistants and support staff to ensure timely and efficient case handling.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in RI.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury and medical malpractice law.
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
- Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with clients.
