A stable, community-focused financial institution is conducting a confidential search for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its next phase of growth and long-term success. This role is ideal for a strategic, people-first leader with deep experience in commercial banking and a passion for serving customers and communities.
The selected CEO will guide the organization’s vision, lead senior management, work closely with the board of directors, and ensure continued profitability, compliance, and culture alignment across the institution.
The Right CEO Will:
Provide executive leadership across all departments, with a focus on culture, growth, and performance
Work hand-in-hand with the board to shape strategic goals and long-term vision
Represent the bank in the community, with regulators, and with key customers
Lead and develop senior leadership in lending, credit, operations, and compliance
Ensure the bank’s financial strength, regulatory standing, and service excellence
Spearhead growth strategies including new market development, talent acquisition, and potential M&A
Be a visible and influential presence—internally and externally
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
15+ years of banking leadership experience, with 5+ years in an executive role (CEO, President, COO, or similar)
Strong understanding of commercial, consumer, and ag lending
Experience working with a board of directors and executive team
Track record of driving strategic growth and profitability
Hands-on leadership style with a focus on people and performance
High level of integrity, credibility, and emotional intelligence
Passion for community banking and relationship-focused service
