Job Opening: Senior Litigation Paralegal (8+ Years Experience)
Location: Chicago, IL (Onsite)

A litigation boutique law firm with offices is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join its team in the downtown Chicago office. This full-time, primarily onsite role will work closely with four other paralegals to support a team of attorneys handling complex and high-stakes litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proofreading, editing, and cite checking legal memoranda and briefs
  • Filing documents through state and federal electronic filing systems
  • Assisting with discovery and document production, including processing and managing electronically stored information (ESI)
  • Supporting deposition preparation, including organizing exhibits and logistics
  • Leading or assisting in trial preparation and onsite trial support, which may require travel

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of litigation paralegal experience, including direct involvement in multiple trials
  • Exceptional attention to detail, follow-through, and project management skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism, including diplomacy, courtesy, and tact

Preferred Qualifications

  • Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree
  • Experience with document management systems
  • Working knowledge of Westlaw
  • Familiarity with deposition processing software

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $115,000–$140,000, commensurate with experience
