Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

The company is looking for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and overseeing excavation and underground utility projects. This role helps ensure projects run smoothly, safely, and on schedule while maintaining quality standards.
Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and coordination
Help monitor job site progress and report updates
Support communication between field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
Track materials, equipment, and labor usage
Assist with maintaining project documentation and change orders
Help ensure compliance with safety and quality protocols
Participate in job site meetings and inspections as needed
1–3 years of experience in construction, excavation, or underground utilities preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications
Basic knowledge of project management and estimating software a plus
Willingness to work on-site and travel to job locations
