About the Firm

We are a premier, highly respected boutique law firm in Washington State known for our exceptional advocacy, elite legal strategy, and deeply collaborative culture. Unlike high-volume mills, we focus on high-stakes, meaningful representation, navigating our clients through some of the most challenging chapters of their lives with dignity and precision.

What truly sets us apart is our stability and workplace culture. The majority of our attorneys and support staff have been with our firm for over a decade. We pride ourselves on providing a supportive, well-resourced environment where legal professionals can thrive long-term without the burnout often associated with family law litigation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned, courtroom-tested Family Law Attorney to join our close-knit team in Washington. This role is designed for an accomplished advocate who possesses the deep procedural knowledge, emotional intelligence, and trial presence necessary to handle complex domestic relations matters—including high-asset dissolution, complex custody disputes, and interstate jurisdiction issues—from inception through final orders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a select caseload of complex family law matters across Washington State.
  • Lead all phases of litigation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and comprehensive state and federal discovery.
  • Take and defend depositions of parties, financial experts, and parenting evaluators with precision.
  • Regularly appear in WA courts for temporary orders hearings, trials, and oral arguments, commanding the courtroom and asking the right questions under pressure.
  • Develop and execute strategic case plans to achieve optimal, protective results for clients through negotiation, mediation, or trial.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Jurisdictional Licensing: Active license in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association (WSBA), plus active admission to the U.S. District Court (Western and/or Eastern District of Washington) for cross-jurisdictional or federal-adjacent matters.
  • Experience: Significant, substantive experience practicing in Family Law/Domestic Relations.
  • Courtroom Presence: Proven track record of courtroom experience, with the confidence and skill to conduct rigorous cross-examinations, handle evidentiary hearings, and navigate high-conflict litigation.
  • Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, financial acumen for asset division, and a dedicated passion for client advocacy.

Compensation & Benefits

Our firm believes in rewarding expertise, hard work, and dedication.

  • Financial Reward: We offer a strong, highly competitive base salary that reflects your years of experience and trial capability, complemented by a rewarding bonus structure designed to recognize your contributions and successes.
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Full health, dental, and vision insurance; robust retirement plans; and paid time off.
  • Unrivaled Support: Work alongside an experienced, long-tenured paralegal and administrative support team that minimizes your administrative burdens so you can focus on practicing law.
