About the Opportunity

Our client, a highly respected and rapidly growing law firm in Pennsylvania, is seeking an ambitious and talented Real Estate Litigation Attorney to join their busy practice group. This position is ideal for a proactive advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to transition from mere case management to strategic trial execution.

You will step into a robust, active docket, representing clients in sophisticated property, commercial development, and construction conflicts. This role offers direct client contact, substantial courtroom time, and the chance to work alongside elite industry practitioners.

Key Responsibilities

As a core member of the litigation team, you will dynamically manage files from initial client intake through to a final verdict, settlement, or administrative resolution:

  • Strategic Case Ownership: Advise clients and lead disputes involving title defects, boundary line conflicts, commercial landlord-tenant issues, zoning/land use challenges, and construction contracts.
  • Pleadings & Motion Practice: Draft high-caliber, persuasive pleadings, discovery requests, and motions, with a heavy emphasis on preparing and opposing complex Summary Judgment motions.
  • Depositions & Discovery: Conduct and defend depositions of key witnesses, opposing parties, and corporate designees; navigate intricate document production and evidence management.
  • Expert Witness Coordination: Identify, retain, and collaborate with technical experts (such as surveyors, structural engineers, and construction consultants) to build robust trial theories.
  • Courtroom Advocacy: Actively represent clients in oral arguments, evidentiary hearings, settlement conferences, and trials before Pennsylvania state and federal courts, as well as municipal and administrative boards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 3+ years of dedicated civil litigation experience. A demonstrated track record in real estate, zoning, landlord-tenant, or construction law matters is highly preferred.
  • Bar Admission: Active, good-standing admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar.
  • Core Competencies: Elite legal research capabilities, exceptional writing skills, strong document management, and a polished, professional courtroom presence.
  • Client Relations: Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to translate complex property statutes into practical, business-minded advice.
  • Work Structure: Ability to work 5 days a week in-office. The firm values an immersive, hands-on environment that maximizes team collaboration, real-time strategy sharing, and cross-department camaraderie.

What the Firm Offers

  • Direct Trial Exposure: Immediate opportunities to argue motions and take a leading role in depositions and trials.
  • Mentorship & Career Trajectory: Clear pathways to advancement with direct mentorship from elite, senior-level real estate partners.
  • Premium Compensation: Highly competitive base salary commensurate with experience, a lucrative performance bonus structure, and a comprehensive benefits package (health, retirement, and professional development support).
