Personal Lines Producer – Insurance (Outside Sales)

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a renewal book of business, securing new business opportunities, and ensuring top-tier service for clients and prospects. You’ll work closely with Account Executives, company partners, and clients to maintain strong business relationships and meet client needs.

New Business Development:

  • Proactively generate new personal lines insurance business (home, auto, umbrella, etc.) through networking, referrals, community involvement, and lead sources

  • Identify and pursue cross-selling and up-selling opportunities with existing clients

Client Consultation & Sales:

  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions

  • Present and explain insurance options in a clear, relatable manner to clients

  • Prepare customized insurance proposals and guide clients through the application process

Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, and referral sources

  • Develop a trusted advisor role to drive client retention and long-term growth

Carrier & Market Expertise:

  • Stay informed on personal lines insurance markets, carrier products, pricing, and underwriting guidelines

  • Leverage carrier relationships to negotiate competitive coverage options for clients

Administrative & CRM Management:

  • Document all sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups in the agency management system

  • Ensure applications and required paperwork are complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner

Collaboration:

  • Partner with internal account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing client service

  • Engage in regular sales meetings, training sessions, and strategy discussions with leadership
