A rapidly growing plaintiff-side elder abuse and personal injury firm in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Elder Abuse Attorney to join its pre-litigation team. This role is ideal for an attorney who is passionate about advocating for vulnerable clients and wants to work in a mission-driven, high-impact practice.
The firm will consider attorneys from both plaintiff and defense backgrounds.
Handle elder abuse matters in the pre-litigation phase, with exposure to litigation as needed
Attend and participate in trials, arbitrations, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Draft pleadings, motions, legal documents, mediation briefs, and trial briefs
Prepare and manage case strategy in coordination with senior attorneys
Adhere to strict deadlines while managing a fast-paced caseload
Travel throughout California for hearings, depositions, and proceedings as required
Provide leadership and guidance to team members within managed departments
Active admission to the State Bar of California
4+ years of elder abuse law firm experience strongly preferred
Prior experience in personal injury litigation matters
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Leadership capability and experience managing or mentoring staff
Passion for representing injured and vulnerable clients
