Civil Litigation Associate Attorney – Healthcare – San Diego, CA

A respected San Diego law firm is seeking a Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Healthcare Litigation team. This is a great opportunity for an attorney looking for hands-on litigation experience, mentorship, and long-term growth within a collaborative and highly regarded practice.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Handle depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy
• Work with experts and manage fact discovery/ESI matters
• Communicate with clients, partners, and opposing counsel
• Assist with cases through all phases of litigation

Qualifications

• Active California Bar license in good standing
• 1–5 years of civil litigation experience
• Healthcare or medical malpractice experience is a plus
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused mindset
