About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a fast-growing fire protection company that’s making buildings safer across commercial, industrial, and residential spaces. They’re seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer who wants more than just a drafting role—you’ll play a critical part in life safety design while working with a collaborative and forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and layout fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards and local codes
  • Create detailed plans using AutoCAD, Revit, or specialized fire protection design software
  • Perform hydraulic calculations and system sizing
  • Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
  • Review specifications, blueprints, and construction documents
  • Support permitting and approval processes
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with high accuracy

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fire sprinkler design experience
  • Strong understanding of NFPA 13, 13R, and 14 standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or HydraCAD a plus)
  • Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills
  • NICET certification (Level II or higher preferred but not required)
