A highly regarded boutique law firm is seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Planning Attorney to join its established practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with 5–10 years of estate planning experience who is looking for sophisticated work, a strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to build a long-term practice.

The Opportunity

  • Handle sophisticated estate planning and trust matters for individuals, families, and business owners.
  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Advise clients on estate, trust, and wealth transfer planning strategies.
  • Work with clients' financial advisors, accountants, and other professional advisors.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Opportunity to develop your own client base and build a book of business.
  • Work alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative and collegial environment.

What We're Looking For

  • 5–10 years of estate planning experience.
  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Maryland Bar membership.
  • Strong estate planning and drafting experience.
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
  • Interest in building long-term client relationships and developing a practice.

Work Environment

The position begins with an initial 90-day in-office period designed to provide training, collaboration, and integration with the team.

Following the initial 90 days, the position transitions to a hybrid schedule with approximately 7 days in the office each month, providing meaningful flexibility while maintaining regular in-person collaboration.
